Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Eligibility and approval
Manual approval is required. Every application is reviewed before the affiliate account is activated.
Existing wholesale accounts, Love Thy Oils staff, and immediate family of staff are not eligible. Self-referrals are not allowed. One affiliate account per person; duplicate accounts under different emails for the same individual are not allowed.
Commission and attribution
Commission is a single flat 10% of net order value after the customer's 10% affiliate discount, excluding shipping and tax. A click on the affiliate's tracked link or use of their unique coupon code at checkout attributes a sale to the affiliate. The cookie duration is 30 days.
Affiliate coupon
Each approved affiliate receives one unique, non-transferable coupon code. The code provides 10% off the order total, with no minimum spend, one use per customer, and no total usage cap. It cannot be combined with any other discount code or sitewide promotion at checkout. A preferred coupon code is subject to approval and a uniqueness check.
Payouts
Commission is paid monthly in AUD once the balance reaches $50. Commission payments are treated as inclusive of GST where applicable. The payout method is subject to confirmation.
Welcome gift card
Every newly approved affiliate receives a $60 AUD Shopify gift card, one time only on initial approval. The gift card lets the affiliate choose their own products. If the order exceeds $60, the affiliate pays the difference. The expiry policy is subject to confirmation; no expiry has been added.
Content compliance
By accepting the affiliate discount code and link, the affiliate agrees that any content referencing Love Thy Oils products, or using their affiliate code or link — whether or not Love Thy Oils is tagged, and whether or not the content is submitted for review — must not make medical, therapeutic or exaggerated claims about any product. Breach of this clause may result in immediate removal from the program and forfeiture of any pending commission.
Optional content usage rights
At Love Thy Oils' discretion, an approved affiliate may receive a separate one-off payment of $100 AUD per approved piece of content for usage rights to that specific video or image. Possible uses include paid ads, organic social, and the website. Usage rights last 12 months from the date of payment; the term must be confirmed with the creator before payment. This content-licensing payment is independent of tagging and sales performance.
Items requiring review before publication
Confirm the payout method and gift card expiry policy. Complete legal review of the agreement, including any additional provisions needed for refunds and commission reversals, termination, disclosures, privacy, disputes, and governing law. Those additional provisions are not drafted in the source and have not been invented here.
